Dr. Florante Mervil

I am Dr. Florante Mervil, a licensed psychologist committed to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, where I trained in the Child and Family Track.

I completed my pre doctoral training at the Institute of Aging, USCF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, and Fremont Hospital. I completed my internship and post-doctoral training at Kaiser Permanente. I also hold a Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, providing me with a broader understanding of how personal, relational, and workplace experiences can influence well-being.

My clinical experience spans adult psychology, pediatric psychology, inpatient mental health, and integrated healthcare settings. Throughout my training and professional work, I have provided individual and group therapy, psychological assessments, ADHD evaluations and screenings, crisis intervention, and care for individuals from diverse backgrounds experiencing a wide range of concerns.

My approach is compassionate, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based care. I believe therapy and psychological assessment should offer more than answers—they should help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and provide practical tools for moving forward. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, or seeking greater clarity through an assessment, my goal is to help you gain insight, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
